Paul Carrara, Business Manager
Paul is Doyle Research’s Business Manager. Officially, he is responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting functions, day-to-day business operations, and human resources. Unofficially, it is his job to “bust the chops” of a group of qualitative researchers who prefer to spend their time on creative pursuits such as providing our clients with customer insights!
Paul learned his business skills as the owner and executive chef of several successful Bay Area restaurants, as well as a well-regarded bakery in Chicago. In addition, he taught restaurant management and business operations at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, CA.
After a move to the Midwest, Paul became the Operations Manager of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, the largest auction house in the Midwest with annual revenues of $20 million. He was responsible for financial management, technologies and facilities management, and human resources.
Paul is a master of efficiency, with an abundance of common sense and a dry sense of humor. Paul has dual citizenship (USA/Italy) and has the ability to work in the US and EU countries. He also makes a mean cherry scone, and taught Kathy everything she knows about baking.
